Heyyyyyy!!
This week was great!! The other Elders in our district came down
on exchange and did some work over here in Taunton! The four of us
sang Christmas hymns and talked to everybody in the city center for
awhile and found tons of success! We met these two girls named Skye
and Chelsie during this time and they were way interested. The next
day we met up with them and taught them about the Godhead, Atonement, and
baptism. During the lesson Skye said she was way into what we were
teaching her about! I think what really touched her is when we told
her her little baby George didn't need to be baptized because babies
go straight to heaven! She then said she wanted to be baptized!!(: we
extended a date to her on December 30th. Way excited to keep on
teaching them both and bring them to baptism!
We also met a guy named Paulo from Portugal this week who plays
soccer for the local collage! He's a stud and said that we need to
come play some soccer with him and then teach him about Jesus Christ!
We found a former investigator named Bright from Africa this week
as well. He lives down the street from us so it's way convenient. We
are meeting up with him tomorrow! He said he's way excited to see
missionaries again and talk about baptism!!
With this Christmas season in December it's a great time to share
the message about Jesus Christ! People's hearts are softened to listen
and I can see great things happening here in Taunton! Loving the mission and
hope more people can accept this great message!!(:
