Week #66 Croydon

Ayeeeee good week here in Croydon as always! Loving the mission and the great work we do! We had some fun this week with exchanges and meetings but solid missionary work as well. We went down to Tunbridge Wells and did a work over with the district while I was on exchange with Elder Hogg from Scotland! While doing that Krispy Cream was handing out free boxes of donuts haha. So we got a bunch and started doing contacting together which was fun! So many people wanted to talk to us! We handed out a Book of Mormon and Elder Dickey got a new investigator from it! Always finding good ways to switch up finding!
Also got to listen to Elder Ballard who spoke to the European area on a live broadcast! He spoke of a time when he went to Ethiopia for a humanitarian project because of a drought in the land that people were suffering from. He went and used his priesthood to call down the powers of heaven for rain to come and save the people. He talked about how us as members need to pray more... and for missionary work we need to pray for miracles! So during that I prayed for a miracle because we need more people to teach. So right after a member came up to us saying a young women in the wards cousin wants to be taught by the missionaries!! We are meeting with her on Thursday and it turns out she wants to be baptized as well! We need to teach her of course but that was something that really helped me believe in miracles and want to pray for them more!! Love how the gospel works(:
Also got Luisa on date for the 25th of November!! Which is my birthday so that's cool haha. She's progressing a little more!! We had MLC yesterday which was good and we talked a lot about President Monson's last talk about the Book of Mormon and how so many people were talking about it in this last conference! Shows the importance it has in  this life and how we need to abide by it at all times! President Gubler shared a powerful testimony of the Book and of his mission and how he wouldn't have been here today or married the wife he has now if he hadn't have served a mission and gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon! Cool to hear the conversion of one of the most in tuned person to the spirit!
Love the book and I'm happy to be here sharing it with these great people!
